a Place In Time
So Many thoughts, emotions and memories all
at once have started to rise .The very ones I've
forbidden myself to recognize.
Having seen the beauty inside. My true feelings
come to the surface and with them, a river of tears,
love wasn't given the chance to be actualized,
How I thought it ever could, given the cards
life has dealt. The results for daring too proved
devastating for those who had particiipated.
The events leading up to a fateful end, Being
left to face family and friends. Their eyes filled
with anger, disbelief and despair.
In each's own life , should they be compared,
regardless to who went where the facts remain,
no ones life was spared .
And now years later having come this far, only
to do so without those I love with all of my
heart. I am alone and stand apart.
My spirit had always lead me to believe my
mission was to touch the hearts of humankind.
What a fine mess it had created instead.
When seeking answers for the reasons why, I
was reminded human beings are given freewill
to choose and decide.
Perhaps when we've walk through the pearly
gates. The love of God in each will celebrate as
the lessons each sought were learned.
